Following the triumphant release of its soundtrack last month and a major appearance at this year’s LA Drag Con, “Alaska Thunderfuck”DRAG: the musicalis set to come to life this PRIDE month with several highly anticipated events.

First, there will be several concerts chosen from “DRAG: The Live Musical!” will take place on June 10 (8 p.m.) and 11th (6 p.m. & 9 p.m.) at The Hall of the Bourbons in Hollywood ($59.99 for the GA, $99.99 for VIP/Premium seats), plus meet and greets with the cast. Events will include live performances of an assortment of tracks and scenes from “DRAG: The Musical” hosted by artists like Alaska Thunderfuck, Jackie Cox, Lagoona Bloo, Monet X Change and Nick Adams.

After the June 11 performance at 9 p.m., drag legend and acclaimed musician Trixie Mattel will perform a DJ set at the Bourbon Room at 11 p.m. (free admission before 10 p.m.).

Finally, “DRAG: The Musical” will head to the Pride Village Street Festival (an all-day, all-ages block party in partnership with LA Pride) where Alaska and Nick Adams will perform excerpts from the soundtrack at 4:30 p.m. This will be followed by an all-day PRIDE party at the Bourbon Room Hollywood.

“DRAG: The Musical” is sure to become a modern-day queer cult classic. Co-written and engineered with longtime musical collaborators Alaska, platinum-certified songwriter/producer Tomas Costanza and acclaimed songwriter Ashley Gordon, as well as directed by Emmy-nominated Spencer Liff (including the TONY cover of “Hedwig And The Angry Inch”), “DRAG: The Musical” tells the story of two rival drag bars who compete to survive amidst financial difficulties (additional synopsis details HERE).

PEG Records and Killingsworth Recording Company have teamed up with Craft Recordings/Concord Theatricals to release ‘DRAG: The Musical (The Studio Recording)’. LISTEN HERE! When released last month, the soundtrack cracked the top ten on the iTunes Soundtrack chart and debuted at No. 12 on Billboard’s Cast Albums chart.

With a cast of characters that combine hilarity, heart and fabulousness, “DRAG: The Musical (The Studio Recording)” is an inspiring and entertaining listen from start to finish. Tomas Costanza is a platinum-certified producer/composer and owner of the Killingsworth Recording Company. Costanza has co-written and produced twelve Billboard #1 albums, composed music for several television shows, and licensed over 1,000 song placements. Sync credits include brands such as Apple, Galaxy, Ford, Google, Amazon, Target, TJ Maxx, Zillow and Tropicana as well as promotions for NBC, ABC, CBS, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, AGT, Marvel, WWE and Call of Duty. Ashley Gordon is a Los Angeles-based songwriter, vocal producer, and ramen connoisseur. She was raised by her loving grandparents in Long Island, New York. Ashley has been released by PULSE Recordings since 2016, focusing her creative energy on developing artists in sync.
