Moberly Area Community College will offer basketball skills development for young Greyhounds and a regular youth basketball camp in June for athletes entering grades 2-12 for the next school year, the coach said. MACC male, Patrick Smith.

Each of the camp sessions will feature both girls and boys athletes combined and will take place at the MACC Activity Center with instruction from the Greyhounds coaching staff and some of their college basketball players, as well as some coaches. local schools.

The cost is $ 65 per person or if two or more people from the same family participate, the fee is $ 5 per person in that family. A camp t-shirt and a copy of the Moberly Greyhounds Basketball Improvement Program are included in the fee. There is a limit of 24 campers per session.

Skills Development Camp for Grades 7 to 12 students have the choice of attending sessions which run from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. or from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. : 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The annual MACC Greyhound One-Day Youth Basketball Camp for Boys and Girls returns June 21-25. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Coach Smith said this camp will focus on all areas of basketball skills. Participants will be divided into teams for the gaming competition, and there will also be individual competitions.

The camp fee of $ 140 per athlete (or $ 120 family plan) includes a t-shirt and lunch which is provided daily.
