TAD! Announcing Week-Long Musical Theater Summer Camps

TAD! Youth Theater presents week-long, in-person musical theater summer camps where kids create and perform a brand new musical every week, all summer long! Summer camps take place from July 18 to August 26 for children aged 5 to 11, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at TADA! Youth Theater, 15 West 28th Street in Manhattan. The children will be divided into groups according to their age.

For more information on registration, please visit TAD! summer camps.

TAD! The summer camp brings young people together to enjoy the magic of musical theatre. Through improvisation and old-fashioned fun, campers bond with new friends, laugh, dance and sing. The perfect blend of musical theater training, storytelling and lively theater games keeps their young minds engaged, active and fun all summer long.

Each week, the children benefit from training in musical theatre; create, rehearse and perform an original mini-musical; explore their interests and identity; share their voices and be heard, and receive individualized attention and solo opportunities. Two professional teacher artists from New York City lead ensemble-based instruction.

Weekly themes include: Theatre: it’s a stage I’m going through! Dare to be different! I do not miss my shot! Live my best life! To eat. Sleep. Summer. Repeat. On the last day of class, friends and family are invited to attend the premiere of the Campers Original Mini-Musical.

No child will be turned away due to inability to pay. Financial aid and full sponsorships are available. For more information, please visit Financial aid.

TAD! no longer requires proof of vaccination for students or adults to enter the building, and masks are optional.

Since 1984, the mission of TADA! is to inspire young people from different backgrounds to be creative, learn and think differently through high quality musical theater productions and educational programs.
