Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders, Musical Sing-Along Act Dueling Pianos, All-Stars of Comedy and Ice Hockey Pros Go Abroad for Armed Forces Entertainment’s Mid-Winter Run

JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Maryland, February 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Armed Forces Entertainment chases away the mid-winter blues with a variety of entertainment headed towards Germany, Hungary, England, Alaska and Hawaiistart 8 March which features cheerleaders from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, four comedy stars, energetic musical talent from Dueling Pianos, and professional male and female hockey players.

Cheerleaders, Music, Comedy and All-Star Male and Female Hockey Players Head to U.S. Military Bases Abroad as Part of Armed Forces Entertainment’s Mid-Winter Series .

Eight Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders head to Germany where they will perform dance and acrobatic routines, hold meet and clinic events in stuttgartSpangdahlem and Wiesbaden, extending post-season fun 8 MarchMarch 14. the Spirits Soar Tour start 8 March at USAG Stuttgart; March 10 & 11 in Spangdahlem AB; March 13 & 14 at USAG Wiesdbaden.

Comedy All-Stars are heading towards Hungary, England and Germany March 11March 26 and include Caroline Picard, Tom Foss, John Wesling and Richie Holiday who bring the funny directly from their lives to our service members. Picard is a 15-year veteran of overseas military comedy shows including three tours in Iraq and brings his spicy style to the stage. As a member of Comics on Duty from 2005-2015, Foss traveled the world to entertain our troops, racking up 5 tours for Iraq6 circuits at Afghanistan11 at the Middle East4″ Europe3 in the Far East, more on aircraft carriers, support ships and bases all around United States. The Texan Wessling was crowned from Houston The funniest person in 1998, and continued to roast Jeff Foxworthy on Comedy Central and made comedy history by performing in all 50 states in 50 consecutive days. Holliday uses her bewitching physique to put on a fun, energetic, and brilliantly silly show. He’s taking time from his long-term gig as a stand-up on Carnival Cruise Lines to tour with AFE.

Three energetic, versatile and highly skilled musicians—Pamela Hopkins, Stephen Dakinsand Katy Marquardt of piano duel draw audience members into an interactive singing and laughing show. These musicians “do duels”, delivering perfect versions of tracks from all eras and genres. They are heading for bases in Alaska and Hawaii start March 9 – 19. The first stop is Alaska and Delete SFS, March 9; Fort Grely, March 10; Fort Wainwright, March 11and Eielson AFB, 12th of March. To unfreeze, the members of Dueling Piano head to Hawaii and play at JB Pearl Harbor-Hickam, March 16 & 17 and Schofield Barracks, March 18 & 19.

Five hockey pros who have amassed Olympic gold medals, NFL fame and coaching victories will travel to Alaska March 23 – 27 as part of the Pro Hockey Stars Tour. Military personnel and their families will benefit from meeting opportunities and clinics designed to improve their game – whatever sport they play – from tour participants.

Bill Flaganan coached ice hockey his entire adult life. Flanagan was a four-year scholarship player at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before starting his coaching career, which includes coaching over 1,500 matches. Him and his brother Joe Flaganan own and operate the Northern Cyclones team and training program in Massachusetts. Peter Harold was a defensive power Boston College, and played nine seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings and New Jersey Devils. He represented the United States at the 2009 Ice Hockey World Championships; he is now the defensive coach of the Carolina Hurricanes. Chris Joseph played 19 years as a professional hockey player, making his NHL debut in 1987. He played for a multitude of American and European teams in Finland, Germany and Italy. Tragically, Joseph lost his son, Jaxson-Josephin a bus accident involving the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in 2018. Brittany “The Otter” Ott, is a professional ice hockey player and outstanding goalkeeper. She played at University of Maine before joining the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) for the New Hampshire area team. A star at Boston College, Haley Skarupa was the second top scorer in Boston College history for men and women and was a member of United States’ women’s ice hockey team at the 2018 Winter Olympics. These exciting players and coaches will visit JB Elmendorf-Richardson, March 23then to Fort Wainwright March 25—27.
