The Ordway warms up winter with “Summer: The Gave the summer Musical “, on stage from December 28 to January 2 in the downtown Saint Paul Hall. Three actresses share the role of the musical icon: Brittny Smith as “Diva Donna”, Charis Gullage as “Disco Donna” and Amahri Edwards-Jones as “Duckling Donna”.
SUMMER Presents Tony Award Nominee’s Book Colman Domingue, Robert cary and Tony Award winner McAnuff, with songs by Gave the summer, Giorgio Moroder, Paul jabara and others. This new touring production is directed by Lauren L. Sobon and choreographed by Nathalie Caruncho, based on the original staging of the Tony Award winner McAnuff and original Tony Award winning choreography Sergio trujillo. The associated choreographer is Angelique Béliard.
