Four Nigerian superstars – Boy Spyce, Magixx, Ladipoe and Crayon signed to Don Jazzy’s label ‘The Mavin Records’ are set to headline a musical concert at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The concert, which would be the first of its kind at KNUST, would make history at the University’s Independence Hall on August 20, powered by Elevate Network.
Elevate Network hosts the annual Power of You Festival, which aims to instill entrepreneurial ideals in young people through summits, concerts, talent shows, competitions and other activities.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency, said Elevate Network seeks to organize young people to help them achieve their desired goals using the Mavins experience.
The event would be preceded by an Entrepreneurial Summit on August 19, with a host of high-profile speakers, such as Mr. John Kumah, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Mr. Franklin Owusu Karikari, Director of Business Support at NEIP .
The following night, according to the statement, would be capped off with scorching performances by Nigerian superstars and a few other well-known Ghanaian artists.
The “Overdose” hitmakers would also perform their solo singles, including “feeling” by Ladipoe, “love don’t cost a dime” by Magixx, “So fine” by Crayon and “Nobody” by Boy Spyce, among others.
Surprise appearances are also expected at the concert.
