It’s 60 minutes of storytelling in its centuries-old tradition created for modern audiences, and it’s (hopefully) the glass of fresh water everyone could use right now! Sitting in isolation during COVID, watching the world crumble, the creative voice of writer/producer, Chris Murphy, pushed him to act. His response is the Traveling Musical Review. With this, he hopes to bring a positive, direct and communal experience to people through laughter and music. Although it’s packed with some of the craziest material he’s ever produced, it’s exactly what the doctor ordered! All music and lyrics are original.

“I decided to produce this show out of a desire to develop an innovative way to use a mix of basic techniques and simple technology,” Murphy says. “I want to present audiences with an experience that will take them away from their reality enough to leave them feeling refreshed and reset, while doing so in a way that’s smooth and familiar, yet completely unique to this show. The pieces selected for these 60 minutes are among the best representations of that vision.”
